Privacy notice
PeopleFinder stores investigation cases, search criteria, source-reported records, user decisions, and security audit events for authorized investigative work.
How information is presented
Source-reported information, algorithmic matching, and decisions made by a user are separate concepts. A user confirmation is not independent identity verification. Records may be incomplete, stale, or inaccurate.
Access and retention
Access is restricted to assigned accounts and cases. The system operator controls retention, backups, account access, and enabled data providers. Overview pages should reveal only the information needed to continue an investigation.
Corrections and removal
Submit a removal request. Requests require identity verification and administrative review because source records may be retained for audit, security, or legal obligations.
Security
Do not share credentials or export reports to unauthorized recipients. Report suspected access or disclosure promptly to the system operator.
This notice describes application behavior and is not legal advice. The operator must adapt it to the applicable jurisdiction and actual deployment.
